Joylific makes high quality, stylish and educational baby products for busy parents.

There is so much to learn when you become a new parent, and one of the first things you’re told about is the importance of swaddling your baby. Swaddling is something that’s needed in your newborn baby’s first few weeks of life, to help them transition to this big wide world they’ve become a part of. Wrapping your baby securely emulates the tight space they’ve occupied in mom’s womb, and helps our little ones to sleep better.

Why Should I Swaddle My Baby?

Newborn babies are born with a startle reflex, which means they often startle themselves awake when sleeping. When you swaddle your baby, it helps to stop this reflex.

If your baby is stressed or tearful, holding them close to you whilst swaddled can help to soothe and calm them. A calm baby feeds better, and a well-fed baby sleeps more soundly.

Swaddling can also help make your baby feel more secure by emulating the enclosed warmth, security and safety of your womb. Most babies need to be swaddled for some or all their sleeps until around six weeks to three months old.

Our Joylific Story

“As a mom of two kids, I have experienced first-hand the joy a new baby brings to the entire family, friends and relatives. A newborn also brings tremendous responsibility to the parents. Looking back, I can think of many things I considered when purchasing products for my children. Joylific was created to deliver safe, environment friendly and easy to use baby products for today’s busy parents.

I am a firm believer that it’s never too young for a child to start learning. To that end, we strive to add educational elements to each product line. Whether it’s sound and texture discoveries, cause and effect recognition, story-telling, hand-eye coordination or early literacy, we hope you get to spend fun and quality time with your baby.” ~ Emily, Founder Joylific
